We’re back for 2022

What’s happening at Milpara Korumburra’s Community House

Well we’re off and running for Term 1 2022, how exciting to have all the smiling eyes back in the house.  We are sure there are smiles too; they’re just under their facemasks – as masks are required inside.

Last week we welcomed back the English as a Second Language classes on Monday and Friday mornings. Lots of giggles were heard Tuesday morning from Games and Giggles.   Wednesday morning we had Mah-jong who alternate with a Monday evening. It was so good to finally have the Milpara Singers back in the house; it always lifts our Wednesday afternoon.   Moreover, we finished the week with Fridays Come Chat with Julie in the morning and of course Cards and Crafts with Barb in the afternoon.

This week we’re excited to have Art with Gayle back on Tuesday mornings, Relaxation Meditation in the evening and the Korumburra Craft Group who meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.

Don’t forget to book your place for the upcoming short courses Delve into Tarot (online) starting Monday morning Feb 14, Creative Arts Workshop with Rachel starting Thursday evening Feb 17 and Learn to Sew on Tuesday afternoons starting Feb 22.

It is also very exciting to have a new group starting up, Fibre Appreciation Group who will be meeting at the Nyora Community Hall this term on Tuesday Feb 15 and March 15 at 9.30 am.

If you are interested in any of our activities, you can book online via our website milparacommunityhouse.org.au, call Milpara 5655 2524 or of course pop in.  Please remember everyone must provide proof of double vaccination or exception to attend (non-essential) activities.
