We can provide the Standard HLTTAID003 and Childcare HLTAID004 Standard HLTTAID003: Learn what to do in a medical emergency. This certificate has a three-year workplace accreditation. You do need to renew your CPR annually. This unit of competency offers the skills and knowledge required to provide a basic first aid response, emergency life support and management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders until the arrival of medical or other assistance. The competencies are recognised as a benchmark standard satisfying training requirements across many occupational qualifications and industries. Childcare HLTAID004: This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. The unit applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies. This unit of competency will contribute towards approved first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training under the Education and Care Services National Law, and the Education and Care Services National Regulation (2011). This course is a Nationally Accredited Course so you will require a USI (Unique Student Identification Number). Please refer to the information sheet regarding USI's and how to create one.
